The eMail Series: Rhodes Rules School

Hi Barry I would like to thank you for your help recently I managed to get an A pass in our NZ golf referees exam and feel without the bits of info sent by you I would not have done so well. Now I will be the one asked all the awkward questions and hope I can help my club. Thank you again and take care. RM

Thanks as always for your rules messages. I read them religiously. Plus, you have inspired me to learn the rules better and I am in the process of reading (studying?) the Decision Book. SZ

Thank you for all your help- I passed. Top of the class!!!!!! Just missed one of the written questions and got 100% in the on-course scenarios. I attribute that to your blogs and weekly rules emails. Darn! I so wanted 100% (even at this lower level).
You are my hero! CD

I have been reading books on golf rules trying to become an amateur rules official. Your method and e mails are much more enjoyable and makes the stuff stick in my hard head. Thank you very much. PR

I have subscribed to Barry Rhodes Rules School and find it most informative and the rules are very well illustrated using photos. LR

I have to thank you very much for all the Rules that you send out - some of which I had never heard of. I really look forward to receiving them and have them all in a folder. JC

Thank you for the information relating to the rules. Your explanations will give me a much clearer understanding of the rules and will certainly make my duties as captain somewhat easier. Looking forward to your weekly information. DG

This is a great refresher for those of us in rainy, cool/cold climates and eagerly awaiting Spring! Thanks so much for your efforts! AB

Thank you very much for the weekly emails on the rules of golf, I enjoy reading these and as a relatively new golfer a lot of the intricacies of the rules of golf are still unknown to myself so your emails have been an invaluable tool, the illustrations are great and make it much easier to picture/understand a scenario and how the rules of golf should interpreted. I think your Rules School is terrific, Barry! NM

I very much enjoy your emails. You deal with the everyday situations we find ourselves in and your photos are very helpful. In addition, I purchased your iPad app and it helped me get a 100% score on the USGA rules test. Keep up the good work! TM

Your weekly mail is a refreshment for me into the daily work. It is also a practical test to my knowledge of the Rules. I enjoy your school a lot!! Thank you very much for your great initiative. ADP

Complementary to the reading of your book (I´m at question 973) I’m keeping up with the Rules of Golf thanks to your weekly e-mails with photos. They are simply excellent and keep on refreshing the mind. JH

Many thanks Barry, I look forward every week to your Q&A on the Rules of Golf. PF

Thanks Barry. Your blog, website and weekly emails are fantastic. Thank you. LE
